What Is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for your child and for Payne. How Scrip generates revenue for you
When you purchase Scrip, from 2-15% goes to profit for Payne School. Profits will go to the HSC and are used for field trips, assemblies and classroom supplements.
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don’t have to sell anything. We produce revenue by making regular household purchases we would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip. Find Out More
Scrip will be sold on campus and through order forms sent home in Wednesday envelopes or in the Payne Office. Look for the Scrip Desk in front of the office Wednesday and Friday mornings.. You can drop off orders anytime in the Payne office.
